Surprisingly Roomy Interior
When you get into the cabin of the Maverick, you’ll notice how much thought Ford put into the design of the space. The cabin seats five in two rows, with a fold-down rear seat and split armrests to make enough space to fit a mountain bike in the back. Ford has also built-in plenty of storage space for water bottles, sports equipment, tools, and more, with a storage bin under the backseat and a number of storage cubbies about the cabin.
The real innovation in the Maverick’s cabin is the Ford Integrated Tether System or FITS. It’s a special slot in the back of the center console that can fit a variety of accessories, including ones you can 3D print yourself! Ford’s going to publish the dimensions of the FITS, so the feature will only be limited by your imagination.

The bed on this compact truck model from Ford is 4.5 feet long with the tailgate up, and 6 feet when it’s down. That means you’ll have plenty of space to stow bikes, lumber, camping equipment, and more back there. And with a max weight limit of 1500 pounds, plenty of tie-down hooks, and Fords’ Flexbed technology, you’ll be able to haul pretty much anything in this compact truck.
